ARRTE
Field note — London · Cairo · Khartoum

Good work, undocumented, doesn't travel.

Arrte is a research and consultancy practice. We find work that's already happening in classrooms, clinics, and communities, often in resource-constrained settings, and give it the structure that funders, governments, and international bodies need to act on it.

What we do

Three things, done rigorously.

Research

We study questions where the evidence is thin: mathematics education, public health delivery, and organisational effectiveness in fragile and resource-constrained settings.

Translate

We turn field-implemented work into documentation that funders, governments, and international bodies can actually review, cite, and act on.

Connect

We work across mathematics, public health, HR, and the natural sciences, linking practitioners, researchers, and institutions that wouldn't otherwise find each other.

CASE 001 Under review — WHO

Integrated service delivery for HIV, TB, Hepatitis & STIs

In response to a World Health Organization call for case studies on integrated service delivery, Arrte worked with Health from Environment Society in Cairo, who developed and piloted the model on the ground, to translate their implementation experience into a documented case study for international review.

WHO has confirmed receipt and is reviewing the submission for inclusion in its guidance on integrated service delivery.

Implementation: Health from Environment Society, Cairo. Research: Dr. Maysoon Abdalla Mohamed Abdelrahman. Translation & submission: Arrte Ltd.

CASE 002 In progress

Teaching Them How to Fish

A case study on community-led education and skills transfer. Full write-up in progress — details to follow.
